Welcome to the Good Life in Provence

Lene Pind, Head of Communication

Life in Provence unfolds at a different pace. Here, there is space for long meals under open skies, quiet moments by the pool, and days that are allowed to evolve without a fixed plan. The new country house in MH19 Premium has been created with exactly this lifestyle in mind. You can still become a co-owner in this owner association, which will already from July begin enjoying this beautiful home in the picturesque village of Fayence.

There is something truly special about the atmosphere and light in Provence. If you have been there, you will know how strongly nature shapes the experience. Set within these remarkable surroundings lies the new home for MH19 Premium. From the kitchen and living room, the view extends all the way to the infinity pool and the rolling landscape around Fayence. Terraces surround the house, and from morning to evening, the light continuously transforms both the setting and the mood. It is quiet here. Only birds, the wind, and the sounds of nature break the stillness.

It is precisely this experience that has guided the approach to the interior design of the home.

Earlier this year, we shared the story of how our interior architect, Pernille, approached the task of creating a home in Provence. At that time, she had only experienced the house through floor plans, images, and her knowledge of the region, while already working on creating a consistent design narrative throughout the home. Today, Pernille and the design team are putting the final touches on the transformation, and the first images now offer a glimpse of the atmosphere and home future owners can look forward to returning to year after year.

A Home with Personality

For Pernille, the ambition has never been to create a showroom.

“I believe people are drawn to places with personality and character. Places that offer warmth and emotional comfort — not controlled and sterile environments.”

This idea is present throughout the entire house. The interior is inspired by the surroundings, the history, and the lifestyle that Provence is known for. New elements are combined with carefully selected vintage finds, and every detail has been chosen to add character rather than perfection.

On the terrace, an aged ceramic dining table has been given new life alongside contemporary outdoor furniture. In one of the bedrooms, a bold wallpaper adds depth and atmosphere, while a restored wicker chair with new textiles bridges the classic and the modern. The result is a home that feels personal, alive, and naturally rooted in its surroundings.

The House Changes Character with the Light

Materials such as marble, wood, and textiles add warmth and character, but for Pernille it is the interplay between the house and its surroundings that makes the greatest difference.

“Throughout the day, the light changes, and you constantly experience the surroundings, the atmosphere of the interior, and the colours in a new way. It is a powerful backdrop that is always shifting in character.”

This interaction can be felt throughout the entire house. The view is present from both the kitchen and the living room, and light moves through the spaces as the day unfolds. The landscape becomes part of the experience, and the house never feels quite the same from morning to evening. It creates a particular sense of calm and presence, where the surroundings are not just something you look at, but something you live within.

A Backdrop for Life in Provence

But the experience does not end at the walls of the house.

The home is privately and peacefully located, overlooking the Provençal landscape. From the terraces and pool area, the countryside feels almost like an extension of the house itself. The view is open, the silence present, and the pace noticeably different from everyday life.

At the same time, Fayence and the region’s markets, restaurants, and small villages are just a short drive away. Mornings can be spent discovering local produce and unique finds among the market stalls, before returning home to enjoy the rest of the day by the pool or around the dining table on the terrace.

Even on days when clouds drift across the landscape, the house is designed to be fully enjoyed. There is space to retreat with a good book, gather around shared meals, or simply take in the view and the quiet surroundings.

A Place That Brings It All Together

The goal has never been to create a house that is simply used for staying.

The ambition has been to create a home where the surroundings, the interior, and life in Provence blend seamlessly together. A place that invites long summer days, spontaneous stays outside the high season, and those small moments that often become the ones you remember most.
