Core principle

Our expertise covers every aspect of co-ownership. We source, renovate, and furnish the homes, while also managing the ongoing administration and operations. We create the luxurious settings so you can simply relax and enjoy your future travel experiences. There are share types to suit every budget and family size, and your stays are easily booked through our unique booking system. Here’s everything you need to know about our concept.

Every location is handpicked

At MyHomes, each location in every share is carefully selected in advance to ensure the very best settings. Every city and region is chosen based on an in-depth understanding of its charm and the wide variety of experiences it offers throughout the year. Criteria include vibrant culture, beautiful nature, sunshine, beaches, ski terrain, shopping, sports facilities, and, not least, outstanding culinary experiences.

All European locations are also selected with practical considerations in mind, such as travel distance from Denmark. You will rarely find yourself more than an hour’s drive from the airport to your holiday home.

The joy of recognition, every time

As a MyHomes owner, the future holds incredible potential—for peace of mind and for truly unwinding. Your trips and getaways can be planned well in advance, stress-free, allowing you to gradually settle into new neighbourhoods, one at a time. You can become local among locals and enjoy all the benefits of travel without the usual stress or uncertainty, replaced instead by the joy of returning and perfectly effortless stays. This is why we call our concept Living in Europe.

Everything just as it should be—just like last time

Every MyHomes home has a dedicated service team that ensures your home is cleaned and ready upon arrival. The regular housekeeping staff take care of everything: luxurious shampoos and toiletries in the bathroom, fresh linens on the beds, and towels neatly arranged. It’s almost better than being at home. Pools are sparkling, lawns are mown, and plants are watered. Upon departure, the team returns to prepare the home for the next owners, so everyone experiences the same high standard—just as it was when you arrived.

A collective commitment to the homes

Every owner and family arrives and leaves knowing that those who stayed the week before, and those who will arrive the week after, are equally delighted with the homes. This shared responsibility makes the co-ownership concept uniquely reassuring: everyone protects the value of the homes and takes part in maintaining the investment.

Process for Establishing the Association

Our associations are established with a total of 29 owners, who join in 5 phases. After each phase, a new home is added. This approach allows owners to gain faster access to their new European homes and start enjoying the MyHomes lifestyle.

1. MyHomes gathers 29 owners over 5 phases.
2. The association is established with the first 6 owners as a partnership (P/S).
3. Investments are deposited.
4. The homes are identified and purchased.
5. Homes are renovated, furnished, and delivered to the owners.

Investments are deposited into an account held by the owners’ association, and funds are gradually released for the purchase of homes, renovations, and interior design. Owners can book and enjoy the homes as soon as they are ready, with the first home expected to be available within 8–12 months after the association is established.

One New Home per Phase

As soon as the first 6 owners have joined and the association is formally established at the founding general meeting, we begin identifying, acquiring, renovating, and furnishing the first home. Once completed, the owners can start using it right away.

This process is repeated in each of the following four phases until all five homes are fully operational. The association is built up with the following distribution of owners across the phases: 6 + 6 + 6 + 6 + 5.

While the first home is being realised, we continue to identify attractive opportunities for the next homes and to welcome the remaining families who will form the fully established owners’ association. Once the association is fully subscribed, MyHomes calls an extraordinary general meeting where all owners meet for the first time and celebrate their shared ownership.

The Optimal Number of Owners

With 29 owners, we achieve an ideal balance between a sensible investment size and optimal use of the homes. On average, each owner has access to approximately 9 weeks stay per year — and up to 20 weeks when prioritising low season stays.

Our experience and usage data show that this number of owners ensures the homes are rarely left unused. On average, the homes are occupied for around 85% of the year, corresponding to approximately 38 available weeks per association.

This structure ensures that everyone gets the most out of their investment, without compromising on flexibility or the freedom to travel spontaneously.

Homes of the Highest Standard

We continuously survey the market for attractive homes based on carefully defined criteria. As each potential home passes through our selection process, it is presented to the association’s owners’ committee for approval. The committee consists of three representatives elected from among the owners.

Several homes may be in different stages of development at the same time, and owners can follow each step of the process — and the transformation of the homes — through regular updates and newsletters from MyHomes.

Becoming Part of an Owner Association

The owner association is established as a limited partnership (P/S), governed by a set of articles of association, house rules, and — most importantly — an ownership agreement that regulates the relationship between the co-owners.

When several parties jointly own real estate and significant assets, clear decision-making structures are essential. MyHomes has developed a robust legal framework that clearly defines roles, responsibilities, and procedures. Each owner’s liability is limited to their individual share.
