Cruise & Celebrate – 10 Years of MyHomes

Every year, we invite our owners to join us for a special MyHomes day. This year, our Cruise & Celebrate owners’ event held particular significance, as it also marked MyHomes’ 10th anniversary. A milestone we have reached together with the more than 700 owners who, over the past 10 years, have chosen to become part of MyHomes and placed their trust in the company we have built together. Today, this has grown into 90 different homes that mean something to all of us.

On a late-summer Sunday in Copenhagen, there was a wonderful turnout despite the somewhat unpredictable weather. As tradition dictates, the owners’ event began with a cruise through Copenhagen’s canals. There was plenty of time to catch up, make new acquaintances and enjoy conversations across owner associations – not least about their shared homes, special experiences and life as a MyHomes owner.

Ten years of shared experiences

When the very first owners chose to become part of MyHomes ten years ago, we had not yet completed our first homes. They believed in the idea that there could be a different way of owning holiday homes in Europe – by sharing ownership with others – and many of those early owners are still part of MyHomes today.

Since 2026, MyHomes has grown significantly, and more and more owners are now experiencing the joy of returning to places they know and love, as well as meeting others who share their passion for the good life and holidays in Europe.

This is particularly evident when we bring our owners together. Some have known each other for many years, while others meet for the very first time. Across owner associations, conversations, experiences and connections emerge that extend beyond an individual home or holiday.

How We Discovered That God Is Italian

One of the highlights of the day was a humorous and insightful talk by TV 2 correspondent and author Eva Ravnbøl, who took us on a journey through her beloved Italy through her book Gud er italiener (God Is Italian). With warmth, wit and a wealth of anecdotes, she shared stories about Italian culture, food and everyday life – and about the small and large differences that make Italy such a special place.

The topic was of particular interest and a natural fit for a MyHomes day, as Italy is an integral part of life as a MyHomes owner. All owner associations have a home in Piedmont, and several also own apartments in Rome. This means that Italian culture and lifestyle naturally become part of the MyHomes experience over time – and a place where owners can feel at home.

Piedmont was also physically represented that afternoon, with a visit from Lorenzo Marchisio of Cascina del Pozzo, a family-owned winery that has been producing wine in the area for generations. Lorenzo has become something of a friend of the MyHomes family, and this time he brought the family’s wines to Copenhagen, giving everyone the chance to taste them and learn more about the wines and this historic wine region.
